First of all, a very merry Christmas to everyone out there reading this. I hope you are able to take some time away from the stresses in your life and enjoy some time with your family—or perhaps to deal with the stresses of spending time with your family, however it happens to be for you. My thoughts are with those who haven't had such a good Christmas, for whatever reason, and my fingers are crossed that 2017 will be a better year for all of you.
Speaking of 2017, we've got a lot of great stuff coming your way in the following twelve months, beginning with the publication of the print edition of ‘Parisian Tails’ in January. The book will start appearing in stores like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and many others, over the next few weeks. It can also be ordered here and will be shipped to you as soon as possible. We may have just missed our aim to get it out before Christmas, but not by a whole lot.
And for you ‘Magic Crystals’ junkies, I haven't forgotten you. The fifth book in the series, ‘The Cloak of Steel’, is set for release in the second half of the year. It will be immediately available in the usual Ebook and print formats, but an audio version of MC5 isn't scheduled to be recorded until the recording of MC4 is finished. The aim is to publish the ‘Corridors’ audio book within 2017, but I can't make any promises that I'll be able to meet that goal.
And it doesn't stop there. A number of short stories from the ‘Magic Crystals’ universe are also set to be released in 2017. These stories won't be published in the usual way, at least not in the foreseeable future, but links to download them will be sent to various places such as the mailing list and the Facebook page. These short stories are part of a spin-off series called ‘The Chopville Chronicles’, and they will serve to fill in any gaps in your Magic Crystals knowledge.
And there is even more than that. At some stage throughout the year, a new service will be announced, whereby you can get directly involved in the ‘Magic Crystals’ series yourself. I can't give away any details here, but you can stay abreast of everything happening around here by subscribing to the mailing list, subscribing to my RSS feed, or following my Facebook page.
